Saturday and Sunday September 7-8, 2024
Fall ‘24 Institute on Teaching Social Action at the University of Washington
This two-day, in-person institute introduces faculty and staff to an experiential learning approach for incorporating social action campaigns into either a semester-long course or co-curricular workshop series.
Hosted by Dr. Arun Agrawal (School for Environment & Sustainability, University of Michigan and NSS Interim Vice President) and Dr. Scott Myers-Lipton (Teaching Social Action), this training is a great way to kick-off your NSS experience!
Cost: $60. Includes meals. All Social Action Training Attendees are encouraged to also register to attend the NSS Conference!
Schedule: Sept 7th (8:30am - 6:30pm) and Sept 8th (8:30am - 1:00pm)
